FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is very fair. Most corporate gyms will charge you $70-$80 a session and lock you into this crazy long contract. Not to mention if you find your trainer is not doing the job and you are unsatisfied, you are usually stuck with them due to the contract. I currently charge anywhere from ($42.50-$55) a session. You get a cheaper session rate when you train more then 1x per week. I offer discounts when amounts are paid in full in advance, as well as if you decide to train longer then 3 months. You also get a FREE membership to my gym.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a free meeting with them to discuss more in depth their goals, fitness history, and current nutrition. I like to get to know them a bit to be sure I am the right trainer for them and will be able to help them reach their goals. I then offer one free session to “try out” before they commit to training. This allows them a chance to see what my gym is like as well as the type of trainer I am. If they want to continue, then we get them in my schedule. If they choose not to continue, I still make sure to lay out a beginning schedule to help them get started on their own. You will never leave empty handed!!!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a NASM Certification from National Academy of Sports Medicine. It is one of the best personal training certificates you can have. Consisted of months of studying and needing at least an 80% to pass the final exam.
