We were thrilled to have selected Cantor Leslie Friedlander to officiate our wedding ceremony. She was incredibly flexible throughout the process, even editing a passage out the morning of the wedding to ensure that the entirety of the ceremony fit us a couple (I'm Jewish, my husband is an atheist). She really took the time to get to know us as people, both as a couple and independently and was able to put that information into the ceremony. She also diligently took the time to explain various traditional elements to us so that we could make the decision whether or not to include them in our ceremony. That, above all else, is priceless- the focus was on US and creating OUR ceremony, not on her and what she wanted to include as it corresponded to her own beliefs.
