Private Dance Lessons with Emily

Introduction: I offer private and/or group ballet, jazz technique, and contemporary dance classes. Ballet courses include an introduction to the 5 positions, turn out, and general technique. Jazz courses include variations of technique such as leaps, turns, and jumps, and introduce combinations of choreography. Contemporary sessions include an introduction to the concept of improvisation and freedom in movement. I am also willing to conduct fun sessions in these styles for those who purely want to dance rather than focus on technique, in which we will learn and perform a simple combination together. Classes for large groups such as birthday parties can also be arranged. :) As I began my training at a young age, dancing has always been a large part of my life. I view dancing as a wonderful way to express myself and explore all of the things I can do with my body/movement. Join me in an hour-long session to experience this cathartic process!
