FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will set aside some time at the first session to get to know each other and discuss your goals and preferences.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been committed to a yoga practice for three years. I completed my 200 hour Vinyasa Yoga teacher training with Sara Doyle at Blue Point Yoga in Durham, NC in 2017. I also completed a Little Guru Kid's Yoga teacher training with Jen Bluestone and Jen Davis. I've taught a variety of types of group classes: Mindful Movement for Tots (kid's yoga class), Express Flow, Pre-Natal, Post-Natal, Restorative, and Level 2 Flow. I have also taught private lessons to beginning and experienced yoga students. In addition to being a professional yoga teacher, I have been working as a registered pharmacist since graduating with my Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2010. It is my purpose and my passion to serve others by helping them be well.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I came to yoga for the mental health and spiritual benefits (decreasing anxiety, slowing down, and finding peace). I have a background in ballet and Tae Kwon Do, so the choreography and grace involved in Vinyasa yoga was a natural fit for me.
