FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I initially send all new clients a health questionnaire which they can fill out and bring with them to our first meeting (which is free). We then sit down and discuss this, what they wish to accomplish, time constraints and budget. Given those variables, I create a custom workout plan to help them achieve their goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been an AFAA certified instructor since 1991. I am certified as a group fitness instructor, personal trainer and weight training specialist. Over the years I have taught many different types of classes as well as dealt with all types of clients. Certified trainers must also attend continuing education classes to maintain their certifications. The fitness industry has gone through many changes over the years so I am always learning to stay on top of the latest research and new techniques.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
The three most important questions a client needs to ask any trainer are: Is the trainer certified? Being a certified trainer shows that the trainer has been educated in accordance to industry standards. How long has the trainer been in business? Quite simply time equals experience and experience equals knowledge. Is the trainer insured? Like any business professional, insurance is a must.
