Introduction: I originally started exercising after my first child was born to relieve stress and lose weight. I fell in love with it when I saw how strong I could get. That’s when I decided to explore the word of fitness and personal training. Over the last several years I’ve taken the time to pursue several certifications in areas that I felt were relevant to improving overall health and well-being, such as corrective exercise, women’s health, TRX, and mobility. I continue to pursue areas that benefit the health and wellness of my clients. After spending time working in a few large gyms, I recently worked as a fitness manager and trainer for a local gym before returning to training full time. I felt that working with people directly was where I could make the most positive impact. This is my life’s passion and I’d love to be a part of your journey to a healthier you! This review is for Vada Rubino, who I've known in her role as a personal trainer for more than 7 years, and who is currently my trainer. Vada is highly competent, ethical, and knowledgeable. She is well versed in all aspects of personal training, including goal setting and nutrition. Vada will create a challenging workout to help you attain your goals, along with plenty of encouragement and a sense of humor. I highly recommend working with her!

I've had a few Personal Trainers (PT) over the years, some with greater success than others. After a few months of kicking around what I needed to do and which PT to use to achieve my overall health goals, I finally committed to working with Vada Rubino. When I think about where I started and where I am today, I’m amazed. I give all the credit to Vada. I’m grateful that she brought me along slowly. Vada was able to identify where I had issues and to work around old and new injuries. I believe it also helped that I was realistic about the time it would take to achieve the kind of progress I needed. Even though it was hard work, Vada was able to make it fun. Still, to accomplish my goals required discipline and consistency, I rarely missed an appointment; it was worth it, all of it. Because of Vada, today I am stronger, much more balanced and have the confidence to do the things I struggled with in the recent past. What she has accomplished with me has far exceeded my expectation. For that reason, I plan on continuing my training with Vada for the long term. If you’re looking for a personal trainer that will give you the right attention you need to accomplish your goals, Vada is the PT I would highly recommend.

I have been working with Vada for a few years now, and the changes I have gone through have been spectacular! I am stronger, have better balance and am sizes smaller. I am more positive, and happy when I work out with her. Vada is educated in human anatomy, muscle anatomy, and physical therapy. She knows what my body can and can't do at any stage of.my training. She is proffesional yet very personable and friendly. I love working with her! Thank you Vada! You keep me inspired and motivated!

Vada has worked with me and always manages to get more out of me than I ever believed. With her guidance I have lost weight, improved my running times, prepared me for half marathons, and got me ready to hike up a 4800 ft mountain in New Hampshire with a group of people readily accustomed to making this hike (and I never slowed them down!). Currently, I am preparing to run my first marathon which will happen when I am 57! Balancing strength with endurance, while I wonder what I am getting into- I know my best chance of success is with Vada!

Vada makes working out fun. She’s prompt and explains things well. What I liked best is that she taught me stuff I can use in my workouts on my own as well.
