- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first lesson always starts with getting to know each other. It's important for me to get a good sense of your musical ability so we can develop a healthy practice routine. I like to know what kinds of music you listen to, and who your musical heroes are.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing drums and piano since I was 15. I studied jazz performance at Sonoma State University, and music education at Cal State East Bay. I recently co-directed a jazz camp in Oakland, and I'm currently the drummer for We Players Theatre Company.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with students ranging from age 5 to 50.
