Coach Michael is awesome - ESPECIALLY if you are not that standard athlete. When I walked into my first CrossFit Box I was an unhealthy diabetic and was in the 280 lb. range. I did not think I could do CrossFit at all. But why did I sign-up for the 6 week boot-camp challenge, it was because of Michael, hands down. It was because he didn't give me that sideways look, that look of judgement you get from some gyms, coaches or trainers. I was concerned about sciatic pain, about mobility. Michael told me don't worry I will show you how to modify everything and showed me special stretched to help with that sciatica pain (which over time went completely away). Well 8.5 months later and I progressed so much and no longer needed modifications for a lot of things. Michael was always there for his scheduled coaching sessions, always happy, positive and if he felt the challenge class was lacking umpf and motivation especially on test days, he'd join us in the workouts. He demos everything for you and is always there to give you that high-five and the end of every workout. His workouts are always tough, every day is leg day...and arm day, and core day... He's gonna work you hard but I guarantee you you'll be coming back for more because you will see results and you'll feel amazing!

I worked out with Michael for about 3 months. Absolutely love his spirit and motivation to get you stronger and more fit. The workout plans are a great mix of strength, core and weight training, also never had a the same workout twice. He works with you on your goals and gets you there. I would highly recommend him.

Mike is a superb instructor he is detailed oriented takes the time to demo each exercise, takes the time to emphasize on the importance of formation and alignment he is very keen on quality over quantity, he will provide modifications when necessary. Mike is a great listener, knows how to keep the attention of his group - very enthusiastic, full of energy , keeps the momentum going and will participate in workouts for moral. I trained with Mike for almost 6 months and he is a phenomenal instructor I highly recommend Mike and his workouts .

Michael was my coach for roughly 7-8 months before I moved back to Texas. Not only was he extremely effective in coaching, but he was also very personable. He was passionate about inspiring us, keeping our form in good shape, and always pushing us beyond what we thought was possible. I recall a particular workout, I was the only one who showed up. One of the workouts was a relay race but since I was alone, I had to run a little more. The goal was to keep up with the original pace from the first round. Each time I told Michael "I can't keep this pace up. There's no way" and each time he'd tell me to just push myself. My last run ended up being faster than the first one, 8 runs before that! He encouraged me with a little tough love and sternness and when I was done, he was as ecstatic as I was! In 7-8 months of working out with Michael I lost 42 lbs and several inches but gained so much endurance, confidence and strength. I would highly recommend anyone hire Michael who is looking to get healthy and fit. He's an incredible coach, he has a friendly demeanor, happy go lucky attitude, but while also simultaneously pushing you past your limits! Thank you Michael for being such an amazingly passionate, dedicated and understanding coach!
