Percussion and Drumset Instruction

Introduction: My teaching style is geared towards not only instilling the passion that I have for music, but also creating versatile and marketable players who can go on after taking lessons to perform in multiple ensembles and venues. My students have increasingly musical lives either in their school, or a professional environment. In short, I make performers that people want to play with. Music is not only my passion but also my career. I am constantly freelancing around the Bay Area with various groups ranging from musical theater to Baroque orchestras. There is nothing more invigorating than performing for an audience on instruments you love with fellow musicians. I want others to have the life experiences that music has afforded me, including touring all over the world and winning numerous awards, and that is why I teach.
