FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project is unique so there is no standard pricing for my decorating, design, styling, and staging services. In general, I’ll make recommendations for your room with an updated look that matches your personal style and budget. Plans, specifications, and other details will be drawn up for you. Depending on your budget and other factors, I may recommend minor changes to major ones. Existing design elements, paint, light fixtures, furniture, accessories, and art may stay the same or may be new depending on your style, budget, and other factors. Thus, the cost varies depending upon the extent of the consultation and your wants and needs. Please email or call me for more information.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'll meet with you at your home before giving you an estimate on the cost of my services because every project is unique and meeting in person to discuss the project is the best way to get an accurate quote. We'll create an online ideabook or look through your existing online ideas on various websites; this helps narrow down the design style. From there, initial plans are created and revised as needed. Then, shopping for materials, supplies, decor, etc is done as needed; material choices may call for a revision of the plans.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with a degree in Engineering where I was a project manager before switching careers to Interior Design. This past experience has given me the ability to be detail oriented as well as given me the skills needed to manage projects and stay on budget. My past reviews on Houzz and Yelp have shown that I have a keen eye for interior design projects and that previous clients are happy with the design work that I provide.
