- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For 1-1 training, I start with an initial consultation in person and for online coaching I start with a 30-60 minute in-depth Skype (or phone) consultation so we can figure out your goals, training limitations, injury history, time constraints, etc. At that point, I set up an initial program based on what we talk about. For online coaching, each week you check in at the end of the week about how things went, and we’ll make changes as necessary to keep you moving in the right direction. This is not a cookie-cutter program, and I’m a big believer in making small changes throughout the training process if need be. I also encourage you to send videos of your lifts so I can critique your form and make sure you’re doing the exercises correctly unless we are training 1-1 then I'll have my eyes on your technique and movement.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certified Personal Trainer, Weight Loss Specialist, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Fitness Nutrition Specialist, and consistently reading and keeping up with current research.
