About this pro
Coach Slavica is great! I had never taken lessons or done any type of self defense instruction before. A friend of mine and student of hers referred me to her for lessons in Krav Maga. I was skeptical about whether it was for me, but seeing the passion with which she teaches and talks about Krav got me really fired up. She doesn't just teach me what to do, but she explains from a fundamental level why I'm doing it so I have a full understanding of what Im trying to accomplish with my techniques. She has also been flexible in scheduling which is a big plus because I have a crazy schedule. Highly recommend!Aug 26, 2017
Slavica has a passion like no other! When she trains she is present, and her mindset is focused on achievement. She breaks down routines to make them safe and comprehensive, while reminding you all the while the purpose for each piece of the puzzle. Her intensity and passion are contagious! -Jessica N.Aug 24, 2017

Fantastic instructor and person to work with. Very easy to communicate with and makes her goals and objectives with the task at hand clear, concise and attainable. She is very transparent, so communication is a breeze. She makes it her mission to make sure you succeed and puts the client's needs first and foremost above all. Highly recommend!May 16, 2017

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Alpha Krav Maga Certified Instructor - Alpha Krav Maga Intl; Blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu; Certified Personal Trainer - NASM
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I had explored other areas in martial arts but found my niche and my passion in MMA, in which I have been training since 2013. It is the ultimate mind, body and spirit connection. My coach recognized my love of training and he introduced the idea of coaching as I progressed in my journey. I had taught group fitness classes to kids and adults in the past and realized it was something I still loved. In teaching Krav Maga and Kombat Fitness, I was able to combine the two. Now I teach at a local MMA school and I work with private clients as well. Best of both worlds!
- What types of customers have you worked with?I primarily work with adults and teens but I have taught group classes in the past to kids as young as 6 years old.
