- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard pricing for an individual student when I travel to their home is $45/half hour, $50/45 minutes, and $70/hour. I offer discounts if lessons are paid in advance for the month. I also offer discounts if I teach more than one student and/or instrument at the same location. If you come to my home, I charge $30/half hour, $40/45 minutes, and $55/hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I advise them on an instrument purchase or rental, assess their current level and find out what drew them to music and what they would like to learn.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor and master's degree in music performance, as well as over 10 years teaching experience in many different instruments. I have also worked for several music schools in Los Angeles and abroad.
