Moreover, I have a master degree in music education with over 50 years of teaching experience both in public schools and privately. Dennis helped me realize that I can do anything I set my mind to. It was a truly remarkable experience because I always felt limited as a performer as I felt I couldn't sing.
Dennis showed me everyone can sing. 90% of the struggle is believing in yourself. He complimented a song I did once and I said 'yeah I'm tired I just was like whatever' and instead of feeding into me acting like it was a fluke, he said 'well, always sing it like that then'. Something about his teaching style makes you feel limitless, like given the right tools you can accomplish anything.
Dennis Craig is more than a teacher to his students. He is a mentor and an inspiration. He is always there with a sensible and kind word. I'm never going to be passionate about singing, but I can be a singer. That's the transformation that took place working with Dennis. I went from being horrified to join my friends at karoake to being able to conceptualize that 90% of my issue as a singer was fear.
I don't have an occasion to sing. But you can bet that should I ever get a role where I need to sing, Dennis would be the only teacher I would turn to. The tools he gave me are ones I'm going to carry with me for a lifetime. I hope anyone who has any interest musicially goes to see fascinating, conceptual, radiant, and all around altruistic individual.

Dennis took me from a desire to sing but totally lacking skill, training, confidence and stage presence and transformed me into a professional soloist who through song communicated with and touch my audience. He is positive, patient, kind, supportive and skilled in teaching all the skills needed to perform through singing and piano. The training and confidence I gained working with Dennis served me well in future careers as a tour director and public speaker. Whether working with adults or children, Dennis is an excellent teacher. I highly recommend him.

Dennis does amazing work. He will help you get over any aphrension you may have regarding music and will work with whatever musical tastes you have. He specializes in voice and piano and comes from a theater background but he was able to help me be comfortable enough to sing karaoke with this when I would not even sing in the car or shower by myself before. Thank you for all your help, Dennis!!
