FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For my local clients my session run at $65per hour. If you buy a package the cost goes down for four sessions it drops to $60 and eight sessions it drops to $50. I also work with groups. It is $10 per each additional person. This is a great way to get the cost down. I can also do half hour session starting at $45 per half hour and the same drop in rate for the packages.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing I do is an assessment. This gives me an idea of what your goals are, a history of past training, nutritional habits and most important a medical history. Then we will have our first session. During the first session I am looking at a few things. First is form. This along with proper breathing is key in preventing injury. I will also be checking for muscle imbalances and balance issues over all, along with cardiovascular capabilities, range of motion and strength level.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a personal training certificate through ISSA which is a nationally recognized program. I am a kinesiology student and I am entering the sports science program. I have worked both in and out of gyms with clients ranging in age from 9 to 83. I am CPR certified, AED certified and first aid certified. And I would never ask you to do something I have not tried myself. I have worked with a lot of trainers in many different areas of fitness. I lift weights, box, play tennis, do mud runs, trail run, boot camp and much more. I am a well rounded trainer.
