FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do have a standard pricing system for our services. I like simple! For starters we have small group pricing that is $20 per session no matter how many sessions you sign up for. Next we have personal training sessions. These are either 60 minute or 30 minute sessions with you meeting one on one with one of us. The prices for those sessions range from $45 - $75 depending on frequency per week and length of session. We reward consistency by dropping the cost per session for our clients who are more regular each week. Next we have nutrition coaching. Our rate for nutrition coaching is $100 per month inclusive of an online curriculum you will be invited to and up to 2 in person, FaceTime, or Skype contacts every month. Last we have what we call Shared Sessions. These sessions are $85-$95 per session and are called shared because the cost is for two people training with one trainer. Again we reward consistency each week with our shared sessions by offering a lower per session rate for those more frequent clients.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our typical process is to invite you in for an opportunity to check out where you could be potentially training. That way you can determine if we have what you need and we jive personality and ability wise with what you want to achieve. We will also sit down and talk about your goals and answer any initial questions you may have. If at that time you determine that we are indeed a good fit for you, we will schedule an evaluation for you. The evaluation is information gathering for us in order to properly develop your fitness program. We will be checking vitals such as resting pulse and blood pressure. We will also be taking you through some movement based assessments that will give both of us some preliminary information concerning your heart health and your body's capacity for movement. We will also establish your training schedule at the conclusion of this session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a certified personal trainer for well over 20 years and my certifications include both a personal training certificate and a strength and conditioning certificate through an organization called the National Strength and Conditioning Association. They are consistently ranked in the top 5 for certification credibility and are one of only a dozen out of literally hundreds of certifications that are nationally accredited. I am also a certified nutrition coach through an equally reputable company called Precision Nutrition. I am a Pn2 certified coach through that organization. I also have a team of employed trainers who, like me, value education. All of them are certified through nationally accredited organizations and a couple of them have Master's Level educations.
