In college I worked with at a children’s voice/choir camp and realized that I annoyed teaching! I’ve been doing it ever since.

Ultimately, It’s about focusing on your expression while building a strong technical foundation. As my student I want you know that you can build a relationship with music at any stage in life. I’m not a drill sergeant, I wanna have fun as much as you! You’ll get as much out of music as you put it.

Emily always created a warm and welcoming environment that made working with her a memorable experience. I gained new knowledge about many things such as how to better my voice control and an added bonus was that I gained a new friend by the end of it! I would highly recommend taking lessons with Emily.

Working with Emily has honestly been a privilege to me. The way she has honed her craft is incredibly inspiring to me and I respect her musicianship more than most. She is a very kind-hearted and talented individual who loves sharing her process of music with others. I worked with Emily at the School For Music Vocations Vocal Jazz Camp. Jazz music is something that's very important to both me and Emily, and being able to work with someone like Emily who has spent so much time on the art and truly cares about it really motivated me to do my best. She is also incredibly supportive and knows how to offer different ways of thinking when something isn't working for the student. I believe Emily is a wonderful music educator and would recommend her to anyone looking for an inspiring, meaningful, and valuable music experience in taking lessons.
