Introduction: I grew up in Las Vegas and moved to tucson in 2012 to attend the University of Arizona to study music. I have been making a living playing music the last 3 years and I have been wanting to start teaching as a way to give back to the community. Ive had a number of teachers over the years and am extremely grateful for each. I started playing drums at the age of 5 when my mother got tired of listening to my brother and I bang on pots and pans in the kitchen. I have been following and building a life around music ever since.

Casey offered me the right combination of patience and encouragement to allow me to progress in my drum technique. Not only is he knowledgeable about seemingly endless styles of music, but he also pushed me to embrace my own sound and made me feel comfortable to explore the drums in a personal way. Easy to work with and a good guy all around.
