Introduction: My very first student was my mother. She was 50 and I was 14. That's when I knew I wanted to be a fiddle teacher. I still love teaching fiddle, especially to those who always wanted to but never thought they really could. I tailor lessons to each individual student's learning style. This is important with my adult students.
I love to see my students come away with a sense of satisfaction after each lesson in some way. I feel that the gift of music gives the student joy that can only be found in music. Music is so much more than just making sound. When you learn fiddle or violin you create something that not just anyone can, but if the student has the willingness to try and the persistence to practice I know that I can create a musician.

I have had lessons from Cynthia in the past. She is a great teacher and an exceptional fiddle player. I definitely recommend her to others for lessons. I am in the process of starting lessons with her again and am excited to do so.
