FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge $75.00 for a one hour lesson with an adult and $30 for 30 minutes for kids under the age of 18. However I do offer specials because I know once I get a student out to see me they will return for more lessons. I'm looking for students to give me a try and see how it goes.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I interview the student to see what their goals are and then we come up with a plan. Depending on how much time the student has to practice will depend on what we work on. I try to work on a couple of things at a time to make things simple. I ask the student to practice a few times these new changes before we meet again so we will have feedback as they return the next time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've had over 30 years of training since I started golf early and have been in the business since high school. I try and attend any teaching summit and training event I can to keep up with current trends, how equipment can help and what new techniques will get my students playing better golf. As a PGA member it took me 3 years to get my membership and we are required to attend meetings regularly for continuing education credits. In 2009 I was awarded a National PGA Award which is voted on by my peers and I won the award out of 30,000 PGA professionals. Over the years I've served on national committees for the PGA and on state and local levels. I've taught thousands of lessons to all ages and abilities and have worked at incredible places all over the country.
