About this pro
My fiancé and I decided that we wanted to learn how to dance for our wedding, so we weren’t just doing the basic swaying to our first dance. We found Anna, and within weeks we were feeling more confident in ourselves! We don’t have time to practice much, but we seemed to improve quite a bit without it…imagine how well we would do with practice! We think Anna is a great instructor, and she does fabulously with both the female and male parts of all the dance styles. She is also very personable. She jokes with us, and chats…finds out what we are doing with our lives outside of our sessions. Now that we are past the introductory classes, we are starting to get into more aspects of dance and we can focus on the styles we love, which are the Rumba, Waltz, Fox Trot, and Swing. I am sure once we finish our lessons, we will be incredibly confident in our dancing abilities. It has helped us learn more about one another and it’s a very enjoyable activity that we both love for different reasons. Its fun, relaxing, and a great way to stay active. Cost wise, she also seems to be very comparable to other instructors in the area. Definitely give her a shot if you are wanting to learn how to dance!Sep 1, 2018
Learning with Anna has been a great experience. Her smart teaching and cheerful demeanor, not to mention her pro dancing skills, contribute to a strong relationship with her students. Highly recommended for all levels of dancers!Aug 30, 2018VerifiedAnna S.'s reply

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First we would like to have a chance for initial conversation with our future student, during which you can get some informations, and as well we can schedule your first dance lesson. It will be a fun 45 minute lesson during which we can get to know each other, learn some basic dance steps and discuss your dance goals and desires.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Anna’s dance knowledge is unusually diverse. She is proficient in, and certified by the National Dance Council of America to teach, all American and International Style Ballroom dances (Waltz, ChaCha, Foxtrot, Tango, Rhumba and many more) as well as popular social dances including Salsa, Hustle, Bachata, West Coast Swing, Merengue and others. She teaches children as well, serving as their instructor and choreographer in preparation for diverse Latin competitions and showcases. Anna also specializes in choreographing and teaching stunning customized wedding and special event dances.
- How did you get started doing this type of work? From the time Anna first stepped into dance studio at age six in her native Poland, the world of dance held a very special place for her. Anna’s path began in Krakow, Poland, where she grew up practicing, and studying Ballroom Dance and the traditional dances of her native land. Before too long, Anna’s broad-based expertise led to her being sought out as a teacher. So while she continues to compete professionally, she now also teaches North Shore dancers of every age and level. Reviews of her group and private lessons repeatedly point out her gift for being equally effective with beginners as well as advanced dancers, and her ability to adjust her patient, lighthearted style to match the unique needs and aspirations of every single student.
