My husband and I would like to say what an honor it was working with Allan Killevo and See More Safaris to plan our honeymoon to Tanzania. We spoke with a number of different tour and travel groups and felt in speaking with Allan that while he was incredibly experienced and knowledgeable about Tanzania, he was also patient in listening to the experiences my husband and I wanted to get out of this trip and truly helped us make it our own for an incredibly affordable package. Admittedly, my husband and I were all over the place at the start of the planning process. We’d initially intended on Kenya and by recommendation from a friend shifted our interest to Tanzania but without the confidence in the geography and sites to feel like we knew what we should cover in our limited time there outside of scattered internet recommendations. When we spoke with Allan and See More Safaris we were put at immediate ease as he is a native Tanzanian with intimiate familiarity with the hospitality and travel industry in Tanzania. In planning the trip it was important to my husband and I that we mix in hiking, safari, beach and historical sightseeing. Just as important as all of that was managing a very modest newlywed budget. Allan understood all of these needs and crafted an amazing itinerary that took us on an abbreviated hike of Kilimanjaro, on safari at three major parks & conservation areas (Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti), then finally skipping off to Zanzibar to enjoy the laid back beaches of Nungwi and the sightseeing and nightlife in Stone Town. He very literally made our dreams come true for this trip and within the confines of our extremely modest budget. We were excited to leave for the trip, but were delighted about all of things we hadn’t planned absolutely blown away by the beauty of the landscape and the hospitality of the people. The drives to travel to the different locations were nearly as breathtaking as the destinations themselves. Along the way our guide would let my husband and I stop to take pictures and have the vegetation explained to us. On the game reserves themselves the variety in wildlife, vegetation, and the uniqueness and beauty of each of our lodgings made it hard for us to pick a favorite location. When we finally landed on the island we shifted to less structured exploration and were able to do some reading, explore the island alone, and make new friends that had travelled from all over the world. We have already shared with Allan that it isn’t “if”, but a matter of “when” we’ll be back to Tanzania. We literally fell in love with the entire country. We envision being able to bring our family with us on the next adventure and sharing it with them.Jun 24, 2017VerifiedSeeMore Safaris & Adventures's reply

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? It's a back and forth process something that you really have to use a great customer services expertise in order to understand what a customer is looking for. One main thing is to understand the interests of a customer such as when are they planning to go on safari or what other activities they would like to do other than seeing animals. It's also important to understand the budget of the customer before customizing and planning their trips. So it's very crucial to ask a customer enough questions which will help me to plan a great safari vacation. One other thing is being a good listener. I have to let a customer ask any question or concern before engaging on their safari plans.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a bachelor degree in business administration and management. I have also been trained and have high experience in retail business management and customer service. I have attended several management seminars and held various positions managing small to large groups of associates.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?Being born and grew up in Tanzania, East Africa where there's a great deal of wildlife, made me fall in love with such situation. Tanzania is one of the few countries in Africa with so many wildlife attraction places from the Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater, Lake Manyara, Tarangire National park and many more.
