Introduction: I have been teaching violin and piano for 30 years to both children and adults. I have performed professionally in two symphony orchestras and have performed and soloed all around the world in places such as Paris, Moscow, St. Petersburg, The Vatican, Rome London, and many other international venues. Locally, I have performed several times for the president at the White House, Kennedy Center, Constitution Hall and Carnegie Hall and Strathmore Hall. In addition, I have received two awards from the White House. I also currently judge Maryland State string competitions. I teach both Suzuki and traditional techniques.
Every child is an individual so each one brings new and different challenges. I love to watch my students grow as musicians. Most are performing in various orchestras which is exciting for me. My students have won various music awards and scholarships and even have recorded background music for Disney movies.
