Introduction: My name is Jorge Gallegos and I'm the Academic Director of Easy Español a boutique Spanish language school located in New York. We teach Spanish to students of all levels and ages. I studied at Easy Español off and on for several years. Jorge quickly learned my strengths and weaknesses and tailored our lessons to address the weaknesses. He was also very conscious of my interests. Because we discussed, read and I wrote about things that interested me I had a great desire to communicate and the need to communicate is a great motivator.

Jorge is a dedicated professional with a wide range of interests and knowledge about language acquisition. He does a great job of integrating Latin American culture, customs, art, etc. with language learning. He also has a great sense of humor and creates a fun classroom atmosphere. I would highly recommend taking classes from him at Easy Espanol.

Without a doubt a wonderful experience. At 60 years of age I thought "way too old to learn a new language." Professor Jorge takes learning/studying to a level of enjoyment. The results were all positive. I've traveled to Spanish speaking countries many times after "graduating" and have been able to communicate with all local people along the way. Very rewarding and all my goals were met in a relatively short period of time.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have an introductory lesson at a discounted price. Then I ask my students to buy lessons in advance and then use the lessons depending on their language needs and objectives.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always ask my students to take a placement test and then we arrange an introductory lesson first. If the student likes my teaching approach, we create the best language program based on their language goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics and Hispanic Literature. I've been teaching Spanish for the last 15 years.
