Introduction: I offer quality private, in-home piano lessons. I provide fun, upbeat lessons. I am a bit of goof ball. I focus on making sure your child enjoys music. I stress the ability of knowing when to stop and giggle and when to sit up and focus. I tailor every lesson to the learning needs of you child. Every brain processes information differently; my goal is to make sure you child/my learner is understanding and enjoying the information I am feeding. It isn't always fun; some times it is hard work! But, it is always worth it. I have such a passion for music and teaching children. I love to push my students to be the best they can be. Music helps so many other ares of the brain and will help your child improve in other areas. My favorite is creativity! I love to watch my students take the tools I have given them and build with them. There is nothing more fantastic as watching the light bulbs, the smiles of achievement, and the dangling tongue of focus. I most commonly only take beginners, as I like to work from the foundation with each students. If the student has had previous piano lessons, I require a small audition. Students must be no younger than five, know their ABCs, and be able to count!
