I was more than pleased with the vocal lessons that I received from my instructor, Krista Wendle. Before I even began my lessons, I talked to her by phone and got good "vibes" and answers to my questions. First, let me say that I am in my late 60's, and have never had voice instruction. Because I play and sing in a 60's type folk group, I wanted to raise the quality of my voice by as much as I could to add more to my bandmates. Although I was a bit apprehensive on that first lesson, that anxiety soon dissipated as we got into the exercises and instruction. Later Krista allowed and encouraged me to bring my guitar and material with which I am familiar. It was not just a series of scales and random exercises. Also she provided me a warm-up vocal exercise CD which I play before every performance and practice session. Krista was always prepared for my arrival, and gave me her undistracted attention for my full 45 minutes, (Previously I had a negative experience with an independent guitar instructor, not affiliated with Taylor Made, who took and made phone calls, had conversations with family members, and even tried to sell me musical material I didn't want. I felt very short-changed and only got about 40-45 minutes out of a lesson for which i had paid for one hour. I ended the lessons soon after I began) Krista is a true performing professional and really knows her business. For anyone who wants a patient, courteous and gifted vocal instructor, I highly recommend Ms. Wendle. She is TOPS!

Great quality voice lessons. She is truly learning how to sing properly. These lessons are not just a place for our child to learn a song, but to practice technique and discipline. She sets high standards while maintaining an encouraging and creative environment.

Reverb Lessons and their support staff have been wonderful. I was able to find a great instructor for my son, close to home, very convenient and my son just loves Chad. I would highly recommend Chad for vocal lessons and the service Reverb Lessons provides.

He is very nice. The lessons he taught me helped a lot for my audition for show choir. I learnt a lot of useful things that I still use to this day!

We love Stick and Trum! Everyone is very friendly and non-intimidating! My son has taken lessons on several instruments and has learned a lot! He has developed a live for music and does not feel like it is a chore to go to lessons!

If you have seen the movie Whiplash, you will not find any music instructors like that at Mason Music. Unlike the volatile drill sergeant in the film, Mason Music’s teachers are personable, talented, patient, and encouraging. As an adult student getting started in music later in life (at age 42), I wasn’t sure what to expect. Will and Sarah Mason were both very encouraging to me, and kept things interesting and fun, while motivating me to realize my potential in guitar and voice. Over time, things started to come together, and I am now able to be a part of the music ministry at our church, and share the gift of music with others, which is very rewarding. My daughters (12 and 9), both take voice at Mason Music, and really enjoy it. My 12 year old has taken piano and guitar as well. Just recently, I attended my 9 year old’s voice recital, where she sang solo in front of a crowd, as confidently as I could imagine, and had fun doing it. I have seen my 12 year old have the same experience at her recitals. Watching my daughters grow in their skills, confidence, and enjoyment of music is wonderful to see, and music is something our family can share. They are both progressing rapidly, and I look forward to the opportunity for musical collaboration with them in the future. I highly recommend Mason Music to anyone who is interested in music, regardless of age or skill set!

I understand that people all need to be taught different so they can understand what is it that we are trying to learn... Also help you understand what we are learning so you are not lost and confused.... The worse is a teacher who moves on when the student has no clue as what he or she is actually doing...
