Since my first conversation with Jonathan, I knew that I had finally found the right instructor for me. For the first time, a guitar instructor actually spent real time asking insightful questions that not only helped him structure a lesson plan tailored for me, but his questions had me reflecting on what I was really striving to achieve with my playing. Another unique aspect to Jonathan's approach is the idea that one can not truly grow as a musician in a vacuum. His classes include one or more other students working and learning together. This way, the classes reinforce the importance of proper rhythm and the joys that group playing provides. In a nutshell, I highly recommend Jonathan to any player, regardless of experience, who is looking to move forward with their playing. Not only will your skills improve, but you will have a fantastic time growing as a musician. I have even made some new friends from his classes and we occasionally get together outside of class to 'jam'! All in all, Jonathan's approach is truly Total Guitar Instruction!

Jonathan is a patient teacher who continues to motivate you. He recognizes that small improvements are big to the student. He doesn't focus on one thing but works on a bunch of things simultaneously. Based on my experience with other teachers Jonathan by far is the better teacher.

There are different programs available to you to meet your needs and budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Together we will discuss your guitar playing history (if applicable), and we will talk about exactly what it is that you are wanting to be able to play and what may be currently in your way that is keeping you from getting there. I will then create a strategy for you and we will work together to transform you into the guitar player you want to be as fast as possible while having a blast in the process!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of an international network of some of the world's top guitar teachers who regularly discuss best practices and better ways to help students. It's my passion, am I am here to help YOU.
