Richard came out and gave a quote to move furniture, haul off some large pieces of wood and other items and power-wash and seal the deck...much more reasonable than other quotes. He's done such a great job so far. He's on time and completes the jobs quickly. He hasn't yet painted and sealed the deck, but its been raining. I look forward to the final product!

I needed a moving company quickly (like, within 48 hours) to move furniture to a storage unit across town and L&L was prompt, easy to schedule, courteous, considerate, on time and clean. I could not recommend them enough!! If I need to move in the area again, I will 100% use them again. They came with two men, a tool box, moving pads, moving truck, and were able to get all of my belongings to their next location safely. I've moved over 15 times in my life (military upbringing) and I've never seen such competence with a moving company. I cannot thank them enough. They made a stressful situation into a non-issue. Do yourself a favor and hire them!!

We have moved at least 21 times during our military service. This is the Best moving experience we have ever had, Brandon and his staff were so organized. They packed and secured our belongings like no other and when we arrived at our destination, the movers which unpacked us stated they had not seen a more secure and efficient packing job. Brandon thank you so much for taking care of our expensive wood furniture.

They had to travel and there was traffic so they were a couple hours later than our appointment, but they communicated and I didn't mind. They went over their estimate by $100, but it was still good value and I had some stairs and heavy furniture do deal with. They worked hard and didn't break my stuff. I would work with them again.

Best movers ever! This is my second move with Team Zippy Shell. John was very responsive and Jacob/Cleveland did a great job. All my furniture was secured with pads, professionally loaded and I did not even have a scratch. Great moving company!!!

They were on time, professional, and got everything done and a surprisingly fast amount of time. I had some difficult stairs to go up and they handled it wonderfully. No complaining, and they get everything unloaded just as fast as they loaded it. Very respectful guys that handled my furniture with care. WILL GET AGAIN!

How much should you tip furniture movers?

Moving furniture is hard work and potentially dangerous unless you’re properly equipped. For anyone not ready to handle their heavy oak armoire alone, professional furniture movers can safely and efficiently move your items to another room in your house or across town as needed. The national average cost to hire heavy furniture movers is $150-$200 per hour. This rate could include multiple furniture movers working as a team to move items such as beds, armoires, billiards tables, pianos, shelves, tables, entertainment centers and more. Hourly rates can vary by region. If your furniture movers have arrived on time, done a great job, kept your home and belongings protected from scratches and dings, and completed the move as planned, a tip will be greatly appreciated. Moving companies suggest approximately 10 percent of the total bill as gratuity for those doing local moving jobs, which is also a good guideline for tipping heavy furniture movers. If the total bill for heavy moving was $100 and two workers were onsite, consider giving them $10 total, or $5 each for a job well done.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
