Chrissy is a great piano teacher! My daughter is brand new to piano (and to music!) and the patience and professionalism that Chrissy teaches her with is so welcome and appreciated. Hannah is learning a great deal about reading music, music theory, and the value of practice that will serve her well as she continues to grow in her studies. And all thanks to Ms. Chrissy!

I started taking piano lessons, as an adult, for the first time after playing guitar for 27 years. When I started looking for a teacher, it was important that they understood that I had a musical knowledge and had very specific directions I wanted to go, things that I wanted to learn. Every one else I called and talked to wanted to start me at square one, like I was a child, with a terrible hal leonard book. ONLY Kathy Cooper spoke to me about my exact needs, custom tailors each lesson to them helping me achieve my goals! Not only is she an incredible teacher, she's also an incredible person! Don't give your money to people and other companies in town that just don't care about your musical future or enjoyment. The value is here, the education is here, the fun is here with Kathy!

About

I'm a teacher of classical singing methods, vocal technique, piano, music theory, opera, etc. with over 10 years of experience in all of the above. I'm a student at Crane School of Music, NY and a graduate of Chotard Institute of Music, LR, AR. I've performed opera/classical singing throughout AR, MO, NY, and other places. I have a deep passion for teaching music. I own a piano and willing to travel or have students come to me. Resume and references available on demand. I have taught a wide range of ages, from young children to older adults. I carry a "safe sanctuary" policy, meaning, that any student under 16 (this age range can fluctuate depending on student) must have a guardian present during the lesson.

I'm a Freshman in college and have a passion for playing piano and would love to teach others. I will start with teaching how to read music notes on the piano (if needed) and then how to play the piano step-by-step. Also, I would expect my client to practice well, so i could teach more and more. Pricing may vary depending on how long you want the piano lesson will be and how often it will be done.

About

I am offering instruction in music, specifically cello, violin, piano, music theory as well as lessons in French. For details, please message me. I am a French-American dual citizen just finishing college for two bachelor's degrees in cello performance and French as well as an associate's degree in piano performance. I've performed in many local ensembles including the Conway, Delta (Jonesboro) and Pine Bluff symphonies, the River City Men's Chorus and the Arkansas Chambers Singers, along with much playing as a church pianist. This year, I am teaching and performing at the Wildwood Academy of Music and the Arts summer program in West Little Rock. During my studies, I've received instruction from some very great musicians, including graduates and teachers of Eastman, Juilliard and Manhattan schools of music. I've also tutored my fellow college students in the elements of music theory and piano playing. In regards to French, I grew up in a French-American family and decided to pursue a degree in French to increase my written skills. In 2013, I had the opportunity to study in Angers, France, for 6 months at the Universite catholique de l'Ouest studying French literature and musicology.

About

I teach beginning to intermediate piano lessons for ages six and up. Piano students learn the concepts of music through a theory book first. Then, they learn how to apply those concepts through practice and performance of music from a lesson book. I also will pick out pieces from other books as I see fit. Even more, students are encourage to make up their own pieces and begin to hone their skills in aural perception (playing by ear).
