John edited my PhD application essays-Statement of Purpose and Personal History statement, besides my resume. John's work was amiably outstanding. He listens not just to reply you, but to understand you as much as he can.
He sat down with me for a coffee and discussed how he would edit my essays to further improvement. Whenever I sent him mails regarding any questions or corrections, he immediately replied with clear, detailed explanations.
I have experience editing my essays with some editors now, but let me tell you John was the first person that suggested that we meet to discuss my expectations re. essays and resume. My essays looked so much better from the perviously edited version. He edited both syntactically to clear the mess and rhetorically to uplift the quality of my essays. I could not have asked more. Not to mention, he dropped me at the BART station from the cafe as it was pouring heavily that day. He happily mentioned that it was part of his service. Thanks to John.
It's really rare to find a talented editor who puts his heart into his service. And that's John. Not to mention that he stayed active, throughout the process, on mail to address, acknowledge and correct errors. I am happy that I have found John Crumpacker. I will definitely ping John for any editing needs in the future. I highly recommend him!
