FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer discounted rates when booking a class package, and for off-peak hours. Additional fees are added for travel expenses where applicable.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer health assessments and wellness consultation for corporate clients to determine the best program and services to meet their goals. Upon implementation, I tailor each workshop or session to the needs of the individual or group. I take time to learn the specific group culture, nuances, and limitations of the students, and design the lesson(s) accordingly. I provide an Intake Questionnaire for Outdoor Wilderness Adventure clients to determine the best experience and provide a quote for services. I also have students complete a brief health profile to ensure a safe and most beneficial holistic adventure or yoga class.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have advanced training in therapeutic assessment and applications. I ensure that, regardless of physical ability, students begin to understand the foundation and basic actions of each yoga pose, while also addressing the fine details in motor function. I offer modifications for those with restrictions or recent injuries. I have completed over 9 years of collegiate level education in yoga teacher training (inclusive of several full semesters of anatomy and physiology) and am nearing completion of an advanced degree in yoga therapy. In addition, I practice regularly and continue my education under senior level Iyengar yoga instructors. I completed my degree in Wellness Foundations and dance, with a minor in Recereation Management from Arizona State University. I continue to research and train regularly in holistic and physical activity wilderness studies all over Arizona. I maintain an energetic, cheerful, and compassionate attitude. I am authentic, punctual, efficient and organized, and pay close attention to detail. I am warm, friendly, and genuinely care about the well-being of those around me.
