Carlyn saved me....I had 6 weeks to plan a wedding. I had the venue, my home but nothing else and very little time as we chose a Dec 31 date and figured it would be impossible to find a caterer and a band. I found Thumbtack when googling wedding planners so I went for it and Carlyn's name up and I contacted her. She responded immediately which was reassuring in itself and we made plans to meet. Carlyn was warm and kind and very prepared at that first meeting. She had lined up a caterer and a band for my approval and we hit the ground running with flowers and place settings. We had similar ideas of how we envisioned the wedding. Everything just clicked. The whole experience was wonderful. I knew it was going to be a fabulous wedding. When we began planning a wedding we really did not think we needed a wedding planner. Most of them were overpriced and full of themselves. We chose Party Bliss because Kristy arrived on time and prepared for every meeting. She was helpful in helping my wife design the table decorations she was attentive to our needs and it was readily apparent she knew her job. When my wife's and my work loads increased it was becoming increasingly difficult to manage the massive workload entailed to plan a wedding at a private home venue involving 8 vendors, live entertainment international travelers and 90 guests. We handed off the entire load to Kristy and told her she had our complete trust and confidence and she absolutely exceeded all of our expectations. We had a beautiful wedding, my wife was very happy and we all had a great time because of Party Bliss and the way they professionally executed their duties. Were we to do it all over again and we knew what a great company Kristy ran, I would have given her minimal guidance and a budget and would have not been disappointed. Brian & Donna McFadden

Monica and Kristal were amazing. In the short time they had they were able to come in and organize the entire wedding party. When my wife met them she felt so much stress come off of her and was able to relax and not stress over the little things. They came to the venue early to make sure everything went flawless. They were the main contact for vendors, so I didn't have to deal with them. If a situation arose they handled it, we did not know anything was wrong until the wedding was over. Monica was easy to talk to and was able to visualize what we wanted. she then took charge from there. We couldn't ask for a better team to help plan our wedding. I feel they went over and beyond with helping put together wedding decorations. Kristal was able to see a need and was handling before we knew it was needed. I couldn't ask for better wedding planers. I will highly recommend Cloud 9 to anyone who is need of a wedding planner. Thank you for your hard work.

The BEST decision I made for my wedding was hiring Tammie of Desert Vines Events as my wedding planner/coordinator. I'll be honest, I consider myself a pretty organized person who enjoys researching/planning, but no amount of research can replace the years of experience from a veteran wedding planner like Tammie. Tammie was absolutely professional, amazing, and so worth having! I told her what I like, my priorities and she made it happened! She was always quick to respond and when she gave herself a deadline, she always achieved it. What I also love the most about having a planner I didn't have to go insane trying to answer all the uncertain questions. Yes, it was PERFECT! Also, my family and friends all loved and appreciated everything that she did. I can't thank her enough, I really got to enjoy every minute of my wedding and I owe that to her... Adetoun is the best thing that happened to me during my wedding planning process. I hired her to do my decoration and she was exceptional. We bonded from our first meeting and she was one stop shop as she planned everything. She is very professional and keeps to her words. She did everything she said she was gonna do and even more. when the doors opened for the guess to walk into the reception venue, their face lit up because they felt like they were in Cinderella's ballroom. Everything looked so amazing. I couldn't be happier that i chosed her and i thank God for leading me to her. She made me have my dream wedding. I'd recommend Nicki and Events to Remember to anyone looking for a wedding planner and day of help. If you'r on the fence about the investment, take it from me, it's soooo worth it! Throughout the whole process, Nicki helped guide us through the decision making and next steps. She gave us ideas while keeping everything true to our vision. And the day of help was critical. I truly don't know what we would have done without her. She knew what needed to be done and when it needed to be done and handled it all while we were blissfully unaware, enjoying our big day.

My entire wedding was DIY and it went off without a hitch; the entire experience from start to finish was effortless.           What does a wedding event coordinator do?

          Pulling off a large, complex wedding or an elegant, small affair requires juggling myriad details, including the officiant, food, drink, wedding cake, entertainment, transportation, rehearsal dinner, photography, equipment rentals, venue reservations and more. Wedding planning is similar to event planning in that a planning team handles the coordination of multiple wedding elements including catering, venue, guests, entertainment, decor, transportation and more. Anyone who has ever been involved in a wedding can confirm that wedding planning is hard work. Experience brings wisdom when it comes to avoiding or resolving day-of challenges. There is no legal regulatory body that oversees or certifies wedding planning as an industry. Anyone who chooses can call themselves a wedding planner.           How much do day-of wedding coordinators cost?

          A day-of wedding coordinator makes sure that every detail of your wedding day goes off without a hitch, and deals quickly and quietly with any last-minute emergencies. For many brides, the day-of wedding coordinator is their best investment! The average national cost for a wedding coordinator is $800 to $1,000. Although full-service wedding coordinators often charge a percentage of the total wedding budget, most day-of coordinators charge a flat fee plus an additional hourly fee if the day runs long. For example, a 15-hour day-of coordination costs an average of $600, plus an additional $45 per hour if the coordinator works more than the planned 15 hours. Another option is to hire a coordinator to manage the last-minute details leading up to the event; for example, 25 hours of month-of coordination costs an average of $1,200. Several factors affect the cost of day-of coordination, including the region, the planner’s experience, and the specifics of the wedding. If the ceremony and reception are in two different locations, expect to pay more than if they’re in the same place.           What should you ask a wedding coordinator?

          When you hire a wedding coordinator, you want to make sure he or she gets you and can execute perfectly your vision of your dream wedding. To find the very best fit, it’s important to ask these five questions:

          • Are you available on my wedding date? If the coordinator isn’t available on your big day, there’s no reason to continue the interview — unless you’re willing to shift your date to accommodate their schedule.
          • What’s average cost of most of your weddings? If the coordinator’s usual wedding is outside your range, they might not be the right coordinator for you. Ask whether the coordinator requires a minimum wedding budget. In general, the wedding coordinator’s fee should be about 15 percent of your budget.
          • What is your speciality? Some coordinators specialize in day-of coordination, some create the overall vision, and others act as a producer. Make sure your wedding coordinator provides the type of services that will most help you create the event you have in mind, such as selecting vendors and handling their contracts, or managing the guest list and invitations.
          • What are your ideas for fulfilling our wedding vision? After you describe your dream wedding — rustic or sophisticated, traditional or funky — the wedding coordinator should be able to suggest appropriate venues, menus, decorations, etc..

          Do I need a wedding day coordinator?

          Even if you’ve handled every detail of planning your wedding, you might appreciate having a day-of wedding coordinator in your corner. Usually, the coordinator meets with you a few weeks before your wedding to put together a detailed timeline of everything that needs to happen on your wedding day. Then, on the big day, the coordinator makes sure everything goes according to plan — and handles any emergencies that pop up, such as party crashers, missing tuxedos, late vendors, disappearing bridal party members and more. Most wedding coordinators also handle:

          • Distributing the wedding day timeline to all of your vendors.
          • Coordinating all of your vendors, including the photographer, florist and baker.
          • Conducting the wedding rehearsal.
