This I am very happy after hiring Josiah as my personal trainer. It’s been a journey. I have always been a person who likes to exercise but never really understood how much the diet and adding weight to the workouts could make A big difference in results. Josiah’s training program helped me build muscle and strength, and I now have a lot more energy and confidence.

Many things stand out with Josiah, but one in particular was how excellent he was outside our personal training sessions. He is always on top of answering my questions in a very timely manner, thorough with his answers, & would do extensive research for me at times. He would provide screenshots and information off the Internet etc.  That's probably one of the best things I have to say about Josiah is how well he communicates and answers questions outside of our personal training sessions, along with how thorough his responses are. I've always noticed that about him and I've always appreciated that tons. I feel like a lot of other personal trainers/coaches would not take the time to do that for you outside of a session or would not be as thorough or offer that type of work ethic and loyalty to their clients.

I absolutely love working with Josiah. I’m always excited to read his responses to my weekly check-in with suggestions, new workouts and lots of support. He has been so flexible, adjusting workouts and macro plans that fit my life and optimize results. Josiah is the best personal trainer I’ve ever worked with, and I’ve tried a lot! He is supportive, extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. It is so encouraging to feel as if your trainer is as invested in your success as you are. I had previously been in shape and loved working out but nothing that I used to do was working anymore. I had become increasingly frustrated and felt I was forever chasing the number on the scale and seeing no physical changes with the workouts I was doing. As a postmenopausal woman I struggled to figure out what to do to get the results I want at this point in my life. Through 4 months of working with Josiah I have learned how to eat to fuel the workouts I am doing. I now appreciate eating nutrient dense foods without eliminating any one food group from my diet (CARBS!). I have lost pounds and inches, I see tons of muscle that I couldn’t previously see. I have learned how to workout for less hours each week and see results. I have learned that if I “slip up” I can easily get right back on track.

At 50 years old, I was 186 at 5’6” & had just gotten back bad lab results from my doctor. My cholesterol was bad & I was inching towards diabetes slowly. I was obese & just had a huge wake-up call. This was it. I was either going to gain a few pounds each year, getting more unfit until I died of a heart attack or stroke or I had to make a drastic change. I had tried a gym membership before & couldn’t keep myself motivated. I tried diets & quit after a month of sacrifice, only losing a pound or two and thinking it’s not worth it. I had even tried a nutritionist, but stayed the same weight. The only thing I had not tried was a personal trainer so I looked at a few reviews online & found Josiah. I was hesitant & nervous. I knew it would be an investment of time, effort, and money, but the alternative was not where I wanted to go for my health, my kids, & husband. I signed up for 6 months. I can guarantee this has been one of the best investments I’ve ever made. We started slow… slow weights, progressing when I was ready, learning about calories & macros & setting realistic goals for food & exercise. We increased weights and reps on exercises as I built up strength. After 6 months, I was down to 155, 10 pounds away from my goal weight. I feel stronger, healthier, and proud. I’m down another 5 as I write. I STRONGLY recommend you hire Josiah as your personal trainer. He is empathetic, kind, motivates you on each accomplishment & helps you to not give up after setbacks. He’ll teach you how to do exercise correctly so you’re not hurting yourself & suggest alternatives when needed. I learned about tracking my food (correctly) & how to make tweaks to still eat foods I like, but adjusting amounts & adding way more protein. I cannot thank Josiah enough for how much of an impact he has had on my life. #fitmom

This personal training experience has made a real difference in how I view fitness. I actually look forward to workouts now — and that’s a first. My energy levels have noticeably improved. I feel stronger, more confident in my body, & proud of the progress I’ve made. Before Josiah became my personal trainer I struggled with consistency, motivation, and knowing what to do in my workouts.
