- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing was decided by taking into account the time traveling to each location, writing out the vows, etc. The standard fee within Maricopa county is $150 for sharing templates, the ceremony, and signing the marriage license.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Charlie and Terri used to volunteer with their church working with engaged couples. The couple would answer a series of questions and those answers would discussed for the couple to broaden their communication skills. Prior to that, Charlie and Terri volunteered with the Archdiocese of Los Angeles by putting on engagement retreats where they would work anywhere from 10 to 50 couples at a time who wanted to get married in the Catholic Church.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Terri started this type of work after talking with her niece and asked how her wedding plans were coming along. She stated she didn't even have anybody to marry her and her fiance. Terri decided then and there to become an officiant. Ever since, this has been the most enjoyable type of job she's had. Kristin started by officiating her parent's wedding.
