Carlyn saved me....I had 6 weeks to plan a wedding. I had the venue, my home but nothing else and very little time as we chose a Dec 31 date and figured it would be impossible to find a caterer and a band. I found Thumbtack when googling wedding planners so I went for it and Carlyn's name up and I contacted her. She responded immediately which was reassuring in itself and we made plans to meet. Carlyn was warm and kind and very prepared at that first meeting. She had lined up a caterer and a band for my approval and we hit the ground running with flowers and place settings. We had similar ideas of how we envisioned the wedding. Everything just clicked. The whole experience was wonderful. I knew it was going to be a fabulous wedding. Adetoun is the best thing that happened to me during my wedding planning process. I hired her to do my decoration and she was exceptional. We bonded from our first meeting and she was one stop shop as she planned everything. She is very professional and keeps to her words. She did everything she said she was gonna do and even more. when the doors opened for the guess to walk into the reception venue, their face lit up because they felt like they were in Cinderella's ballroom. Everything looked so amazing. I couldn't be happier that i chosed her and i thank God for leading me to her. She made me have my dream wedding. I have high standards and I can easily say that Debbie was the best wedding planner I could ever ask for. She was always positive, always had a solution to everything we needed, always kept my budget front of mine and was just purely delightful to work with. I hosted a training course recently that brought physicians from all over the country and I wanted an excellent cuisine experience for breakfast besides the traditional bagels and fruit. Dynamic Cusine put an amazing spread that included quiche, muffins, and a fabulous parfait in little baby mason jars! I definitely will use Dynamic Cuisine again. Can't wait to do a lunch next:)
The dream for Chef Anitra Cheree' began as a result of my past work history and a void that needed to be filled. As a former marketing manager for a managed health care company in Chicago, Illinois, my main responsibility was to evaluate trends and product strategies, promote new products and maintain client services. During the evaluation process, I realized how critical it was to make our marketing representatives stand out and did so by developing creative marketing strategies to make that happen. Additionally, my national sorority had always sought me out to help with planning for fundraising events. It was a task that came easy to me because I enjoy the process of making a vision become reality. From the success of the fundraising and creative marketing events I produced, a colleague suggested I apply for a position at Kellogg School of Management. Guessing that the work couldn't be much different from my current work, I snagged the position and worked there three years as their special events coordinator. From there, I was recruited to a university where my work as an event planner began to stand out. Soon, corporations and organizations began contacting me to produce their events. As a result, Chef Anitra Cheree' was born.
The candy display table looked great. She does nice work as far at putting together the table. I had a problem with custom labels for the baby shower that she was going to do for the goody bags. The mother to be's name was spelled wrong on the label. I felt the situation was not handled in a professional manner nor was anything done to fix it. I was disappointed we did not get the custom goody bags we ordered for the shower.
Glorious Details & Ginny Vincent-Moore planned my baby shower and it was a truly fantastic experience. I traveled from out of town and all of the details were taken care of. I gave her a theme, the guest list and where I wanted the event to take place and she literally took care of every detail for me! I was able to enjoy my trip, my special day and not have to worry about anything. If you are unsure about using an event planner, I would highly suggest speaking with Ginny about what she can bring to the table. Every detail is covered and guaranteed to knock your socks off!

Desert Whim is the best! We worked closely with Bernadette throughout the wedding planning stages as well as day of coordination and she was a pro every step of the way. She's a pleasure to work with and always has your best interest at heart and is your advocate when coordinating with vendors. She was always very responsive to texts and emails which is great because you'll have a ton of questions. Even though our outdoor wedding ceremony got rained out at the last minute, Desert Whim was quick to think of a new indoor game plan and was able to make our wedding day turn out beautiful thanks to both Bernadette and Cyndra. They helped us perfectly create our wedding vision, now recreated perfectly for inside and kept the whole wedding on time. We could not have had a better wedding! Not only were many of our guests none the wiser to the fact that we initially planned for an outdoor ceremony and reception, but they also told us that our wedding was one of their favorites! The ladies at Desert Whim took on the rain with us and we won! They are awesome and we count them as our friends and plan on using them for other life events. Baby shower? ;) ;)
I'd recommend Nicki and Events to Remember to anyone looking for a wedding planner and day of help. If you'r on the fence about the investment, take it from me, it's soooo worth it! Throughout the whole process, Nicki helped guide us through the decision making and next steps. She gave us ideas while keeping everything true to our vision. And the day of help was critical. I truly don't know what we would have done without her. She knew what needed to be done and when it needed to be done and handled it all while we were blissfully unaware, enjoying our big day.
