Ivan and his team were polite and professional. They worked with me when I had to reschedule their appointment. They arrived on time and did an excellent job on my seven trees. I would use them again and recommend them as caring professionals.
I'm about the most picky/snobby people out there when it comes to hiring handymen; I own that. I know what I expect and I won't take anything less. Daryll (one R and two L's, btw as I see it's misspelled on reviews), is nothing short of amazing. He's quick in response, dependable to show to his appointment time but more than anything else, he's a master at drywall repair. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Personally, I think he's underpricing himself because it's hard to find high quality repair professionals....and Daryll is truly the best out there.
great service! very efficient and helpful. he was on time did great work and helped with a few thing i did not know about. overall very professional! great job very happy with my new mounted tv. his prices are the best also!
We've hired Charles to tile 3 bathroom floors. I was impressed when we met for the estimate and am really looking forward to seeing the finished work!
Do you ever watch one of those DIY shows on television and suddenly believe you could be a craftsman producing amazing results in a fraction of the time and cost the "professionals" charge? So you set out to create something amazing only to realize that you have neither the experience nor the skill to even approach something you would be proud to show your family and friends. That basically sums up my latest project of creating an office out of a spare bedroom. After demolition, wiring, and elementary drywall came time for finish work. A few YouTube videos and several visits to the local home improvement store quickly made me realize that I was in way over my head. So instead of trudging away throwing mud and money all over the room I swallowed my pride and a large amount of sheetrock dust and admitted defeat. I needed professional help (despite what my wife says I meant professional sheet rocking help not the mental therapy she constantly suggests). I turned to Thumbtack and quickly had several bids all very competitive. In the end I selected Time4LSM. The decision was not just based on price. David answered all my questions and even made suggestions of what I could do whether I went with him or not. He was very professional and a wealth of knowledge. At first we scheduled the work to be done at the end of the week but after I explained my dilemma and how other pieces of the office made this kind of an emergency, David offered to be at my house at 7 AM on Monday morning (just a day after I gave him the job). I eagerly accepted. David arrived early to the job with all of his equipment. He was courteous and professional. He worked quickly and went above and beyond making sure all of the texturing matched the existing house. He offered tips and was in and out quickly helping me put my project back on schedule. I would definitely recommend him with confidence. My wife has permanently posted his business card in plain sight almost as a Handyman Bat Signal so the next time I binge watch HGTV and get some kind of crazy remodeling idea she has someone to reach out to in order to save what little ego I have left.
EXCELLENT RESULTS!!! SOLID TEAM, CONSISTENT FOLLOW THROUGH!!!! THIS IS WHAT WORKING WITH A CONTRACTOR SHOULD BE!!! Josh Rudin and his team at ASAP RESTORATION completely restored our home after it was flooded. We are so happy we ended up hiring them. They knew how to work with our insurance company and were always delivering a great quality job on time. Jason was our Project Manager and I know we couldn't have gotten through all of this without his help as well. Everything from sheetrock to drywall and painting to door trims was well done. We got to know the staff well, and they were such nice people with good work ethic. ASAP also has great sub-contractors. We couldn't be happier with our kitchen and bath cabinets and countertops. They recommended great quality products and have the right professionals for installation. I'm in the design business myself and had never been through an experience like this with flood damage. I can't say enough about the professionalism and follow through from ASAP. I would and will recommend them to my friends and family. Also important to note, if they have a point of view on something that would look better, listen to them, they know their business. We went back and forth on a few finish options and whenever I took their advice, I was happy with the end result! I may be a designer, but I believe you can always learn something new if you stay open! Here's the reality check. You as the customer have to do your homework too. Don't expect them to bring you lots of floor samples and counter top samples and cabinet samples. That is time consuming and not part of their job. But do feel free to ask them for advice on where to go to check out materials, they have great sources!! My opinion is, when you go through something like this, you have to take the time to understand what your insurance company is willing to pay for. Talk to your adjustor if you have questions. And once you know, for example, what your budget is for kitchen countertops, go check out material pricing at Lowe's. Then you can have a reasonable conversation with your contractor. If you don't do your own homework and just leave it in your contractor's hands, you will be fine - just don't complain if it isn't exactly what you imagined. Hiring a contractor is a 2 way relationship. If you don't do your part, you shouldn't complain unless something is actually installed wrong. We are very happy with all the work performed by ASAP!! SO GRATEFUL TO ASAP RESTORATION FOR MAKING OUR HOME BEAUTIFUL AGAIN!!
Very good quality. Clean and professional workers. They were responsive and pleasant. Will definitely use them again.
He was responsive to my inquiry and finished the work in record time The job looks great!
From start to finish, Global Prevention Services was outstanding. I actually called them when the work was completed to ask if I could write a recommendation. Everyone was so helpful and so easy to work with. The work was done in less time than they thought and the workers were absolutely excellent. Everything about Global was amazing and I would recommend them to anyone who has mold or water damage.
Herbert & Karen are very professional, we completed one phase of the job, removing wallpaper and repairing drywall. They will be back to finish painting . I look forward to working with them on the completion of the project.
Jack of Phoenix Roofing and Remodeling, Inc. was very thorough, knowledgeable and professional in the overall project of my tiled roof underlayment replacement, I was very impressed with him. His crew was also very professional and courteous. They showed up on time, cleaned up every day, and if I had any questions they had the right answers. I would highly recommend Phoenix Roofing and Remodeling for any project a homeowner has in mind. An outstanding job performed. I would have to say that this has been the best contractor experience I've ever had
Complete upgrade of Bathrooms, Kitchen, Bedrooms, Living rooms & Garage. Rick and his team are awesome. They are very well qualified from what I have seen with regards to design, time & project management, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, tile, & granite. It is refreshing to see real professionals at work who take pride in their job and have fun doing it. They are very thorough, meticulous attention to detail & go out of there way to please you. It's very hard to make design & color decisions you will have to live with for years; so you want to make sure you do it right and it looks like what you dreamed of. This is the guy to hire, I am so happy I met Rick and decided to have him help me build my dream home.
they were professional and on time for our meeting to discuss what my concerns were regarding my roof. I process of setting up day and time to schedule repairs. So far I am happy with their professional and honesty.
We had several doors that either needed refinishing for longevity, replacement parts and general repair for ease of use. One pocket door never closed the way it was meant to, but rather dragged and made a awful sound when fighting to closed. It now glides effortlessly and stays put. Our solid front door is heavy and worth maintaining, David refinished and varnished it, as well as added a peephole and a doorbell. We also had cracks in our masonry that David was able to repair, patch and paint. His finished work is seamless, you can not tell that there were cracks. Our home is small at just under 1000 sq.ft., but it's well loved. We are in a historic neighborhood and our home was built in 1950s. He sealed all of our windows to prevent moisture from seeping in to form cracks to begin with. He also was able to repair a closing mechanism for a side gate. We will use David again, this time it will be to rip out an old enamel tub and put in a tiled shower.
Jared, his father and brother arrived on time. They were finished in about 3 hours. They patched several cracks in the ceiling's drywall, replaced 9 smoke detectors, replaced an electrical switch, removed some patio lighting and installed around 35 kitchen cabinet pulls. They came in and started right to work and cleaned up when they were finished. I was very impressed and would definitely hire them again.
So I am redeveloping this mid-century home off 16th Street and Osborn and decided to open the kitchen and living room into one grand room tearing out a load-bearing wall and placing a rustic oversize glulam as a load support. This was a tricky and complicated job. Had lot's of guys come out to quote and kick the tires, but most were full of BS or going to sub-out the job or ridiculous on price because they didn't understand the job. After spending 15 minutes speaking his brother I knew I had the right crew. They were able to read the engineering sheets and even gave some valuable insights on how to pour the footing using a pretty cool technique that preserved the original floor. When they started the job there was no jerking around. Just A@#holes and elbows, 3 guys grinding out a tough day of work. All in all, they weren't cheap, but not expensive either. They worked great as a team and got a hard job done timely. I will use these guys again for rough framing, sub-framing & drywall and to some extent finishing work. They made my remodel go a whole lot smoother.
Robert did a thorough and professional repair on my ceiling. The texture matched perfectly, and I was impressed by his thorough clean-up after. I found him to be a genuinely nice family man, and I highly recommend his services.
Within in minutes of posting my problem, I received a response and phone call. They were available immediately but 100% worked around my schedule to set up an assessment. Very professional and quick to give me an estimate and give a timeline for completion. Very straight forward and I highly recommend them for going out of their way to help me out.
he was good. he came out on very short notice. was supposed to come back but due to me probably lagging on calling him he hasnt come back to finish.
Alan and his crew at Alin Design Construction did a terrific job on the my renovation project! Always professional, on time, listened to what I wanted, and delivered exactly as promised! I will definitely be calling them for all my renovation projects!
These guys are great. They were clear and honest with there estimate and very professional. They got done on schedule and my laminate floors look great. They stopped and picked up materials on the way to the job for me. They were flexible with my schedule and willing to work around some of the other work I was doing. I have already recommended them to friends. Fair price for a job well done.
