My boyfriend and I have been working with Andrea for about 5 months now, and she always kicks our butts whether it is at the gym, park, or online via live training. There is seriously NEVER a time we don’t have a good sweat session. She really focuses on your body & health goals and is very flexible when it comes to scheduling, which is wonderful due to our hectic and sometimes random work/travel schedule. When it comes to the actual workouts, she’s also really great at correcting our forms which is key to targeting the correct muscle groups and avoiding injury. I also want to add that ever since I started working out with Andrea, my chronic back pain (from scoliosis and terrible posture) has improved. As a complete novice in anything related to exercise, her comprehensive one-on-one workouts and dietary insight continue to help me meet my ongoing weekly and monthly goals. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?The first initial session will be when we take measurements and a fitness assessment. Then we will assess goals, injuries and and nutrition. The second session is a full workout and meal planning. Then going forward, there will be a 50 minute workout with an assisted stretch at the end of each session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a Personal Training Certification through ACE Fitness.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I've always known that fitness is so much more than looking good. All my life I used fitness as an outlet. It has helped me to relieve stress and anxiety. I love the energy that it gives me so when I found that ACE Fitness provided the training and certification, I knew that I had access to my dream carreer in the fitness industry.
