Introduction: About me! In the business for 30 years In-home training The full cost from start to finish is $500.00 Everything is included in the training. My training is lifetime guaranteed. I teach you to read your dogs body language, which is half the battle. My name is Kim. I own I love your dog pet service. This program is 4 weeks with 2 one hour lessons per week, It covers all puppy issues including potty training, jumping, nipping, calming down from the puppy zoomies, crate training, separation anxiety, pulling on clothes, introducing new puppies to your older dogs and teaching your kids how to work with the new puppy, we teach all your standard commands, we also work on grooming which is an important part of your puppies life. After vaccinations are done we do two outings of your choice. Plus 2 follow ups. I also don't charge to come out to meet with you. It's not an evaluation It's just meeting the puppy and his or her family members.

Excellent training! Our puppies have learned so much and so have we. We are excited to see results so quickly, I have never owned a dog before and ended up with two unplanned rescues. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed. I hired Kim and she really helped with the transition of our wonderful new family members.

Soon after we brought home our three month old Golden doodle, Piper, we found Kim on the web, and as luck would have it, we hit the jackpot! Kim is an outstanding trainer, and a wonderful person who truly does love your dog. Kim knows dogs, and in her unique way communicates with them with calmness, patience, encouragement and love. Kim not only helped us and our puppy to learn and grow, she also involved our 5 year old Golden mix in the training with Piper. We all looked forward to our training sessions with Kim, including socialization outings, and invariably she called between sessions to check on how Piper was doing. After we left for our summer home, we have continued to communicate with Kim and look forward to resuming advanced training for Piper upon our return. Kim is very experienced and knowledgeable about dogs and their behaviors. She calls multiples times during the week to check to see how we are doing with our dog and we can call her at any time if we have questions or need advice. Our dog begin doing very well after just one session with Kim. I would highly recommend Kim for your dog training needs.

When you meet Kim and watch her with your dog, you see that she has a lot of experience training. In just 3 lesions Maxwell has learned how to sit, down and stay. He resisted the leash but now walks on our left side. More to do but we’re off to a great start.

Kim is an excellent dog trainer. She had an immediate connection with our puppy, Charley!!! She is kind, patient and doesn’t believe in yelling at a dog when she misbehaves. Very skilled at what she does!!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing has been the same since 2000. I have set prices for my courses, it doesn't depend on the house you live in or what area you are in. It's more important to train dogs then lose the opportunity. And PLEASE, never give a review for a prompt response, that has nothing to do with how they work. And they end up with a five star rating for talking and not working.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to come meet if you like but typically I start the training with what you want most out of the training besides the obedience and problem solving. Example: One of my clients has MS and the most important thing to her was heeling with her 50 pound puppy at that time. We accomplished that first off and added all aspects of the training. He is a valued member of the family and travels with her daily. The first lesson is mainly starting out with the problem solving and seeing what I need to supply for the training.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
