Stevie has been teaching my son drums for two years now. Being a drummer myself, I feel I can give an accurate assessment of his skills, not just as a teacher but as a role model as well. Stevie has certainly established a positive learning environment with my son. He is excellent at facilitating a multi-sensory learning experience while also adding an element of fun to the lessons. Stevie is adapt at pulling back when he needs to or pushing ahead when my son is ready and able, giving him a challenge but not setting him up for a fail. Stevie is dependable and easy to work with. I highly recommend him as a teacher but only if you want your student to succeed.

Whether it be hard-rocking rock and roll, cool jazz or amazing Taiko drumming, Stevie Hagel knows his way around a drum - really multiple types of drums! As the parent of a drummer and of a music teacher, I wish he had been teaching when my daughters was younger.
