Michelle Rogers with Lighthouse Catering did an event for The Central Arizona Chapter of the National Forum for Black Public Administrators and City of Phoenix. I am the President Elect for the Central Arizona Chapter for National Forum for Black Public Administrators as well as Management Assistant II to the City Manager for the City of Phoenix. The event was for 100 people and she provided barbecue beef, chicken, baked beans, salad, desserts and drinks. The keynote speaker was the City Manager of Phoenix. The food was excellent and everyone was pleased. I would definitely recommend this caterer for small and large events.

I found Sheila just a few weeks before my event (a nautical themed going away party) and she was happy to help, even at such short notice. It was a party of about 35 guests and Sheila made my day that much easier so I could just relax and enjoy the party! I was looking to do something along the lines of hawaiian bbq and she put together a great menu of apps and entrees, including corn salsa, volcano shrimp, pork sliders, bacon wrapped pineapple, hawaiian fried rice, pineapple ham, and teriyaki chicken. The presentation was great, including an amazing goat cheese and pecan dip in the shape of a pineapple! Everything was so delicious... every single guest asked where the food came from and raved about how good it was. On top of all that, Sheila went above and beyond and provided some decor. Each food item had hand made anchor name tags and the sliders had adorable anchor picks through them! There were also super cute decorated mason jars to fit the theme with hand sprayed flowers in them. It just made everything that much more special! I would absolutely recommended Sheila to anyone! She is more than willing to work with you and create a great experience that is personalized exactly to what you want and need.

The BEST decision I made for my wedding was hiring Tammie of Desert Vines Events as my wedding planner/coordinator. I'll be honest, I consider myself a pretty organized person who enjoys researching/planning, but no amount of research can replace the years of experience from a veteran wedding planner like Tammie. Tammie was absolutely professional, amazing, and so worth having! I told her what I like, my priorities and she made it happened! She was always quick to respond and when she gave herself a deadline, she always achieved it. What I also love the most about having a planner I didn't have to go insane trying to answer all the uncertain questions. Yes, it was PERFECT! Based on a recommendation, from a friend, we hired Tiny Maven to plan my daughters birthday party. In less than two weeks, they were able to create a beautiful party at a local petting zoo/farm (not an easy task!). Since that time, we have hired the team for two more parties. They always provide creative and tasteful ideas and come prepared for everything. They are so detailed and organized that I know I will be able to enjoy my parties!
