- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer services ranging from half-hour visits, longer stay visits, overnights, and live-in services. Each service is priced based on location and number and types of pets. Please contact me for specific rates, and feel free to get an idea of my rates on my website, www.PetSittingScottsdale.com.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was working in commercial real estate (buying and selling of apartment buildings), and was not loving my job. I heard about pet sitting, and thought how much fun that sounded, not knowing anything about it at the time. I looked into all that was involved in starting a pet sitting company, and decided to take a leap of faith, quit my (very stable) job, and follow my passion of working with animals! And never looked back :)
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have a lot of regular clients who work long hours and have me come to their home in the middle of the day to walk their dog(s). I also have a lot of people who travel; if they have cats, they have me come in usually once per day, and if they have dogs, I will either come in multiple times per day, or stay in their home while they are away. This is my very popular "live-in" service.
