Arthur is an all around great guy. He is very knowledgeable in many different parts of the construction trade and is an excellant foreman. He has an invaluable list of contacts that he can provide to fellow contractors and customers. His network of contacts is far more valuable than any information google has on the local tradesmen. If he can't get the job done, he has several referrals that he will contact for you to give you an estimate.
If you go with someone else different then who he recommended but are uncertain of them after you hire them, he will most likely know who they are, how experienced they are with their trade, if they are trustworthy, if they are honest, and if they try to overcharge.
Working with Arthur as a referred contractor and seeing how happy his clients are at the end of their project has really shown me the level of professionalism he has in both the personal and professional aspects of his work.
The few customer disputs I've seen him deal with are usually a customer trying to scam Arthur out of a few hundred dollars less then the agreed upon price or an employee who isn't performing his job properly. In all these situations (even a few quite extreme situations where intimidation and threat of harm to him was aggressively implied), Arthur kept a level head and resolved the situation with the highest level of respect possible.
I am truly thankful to have Arthur in my network because its business people like him that make working in the trades a smooth, enjoyable, and rewarding experience.
