- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
-I have a flat rate of $30/hour. -If it is a large and long process (typically more than 6 weeks before the event), I will ask for half down when we begin our contract together and the second half to be given by the day of the event.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you meet with the professional and talk with them. This will help you to understand the mindset and personality of the professional so that hopefully a trusting relationship can be developed. There is nothing worse than dreading a meeting with the person who will probably be working on your event for many many hours.
