Awesome teacher IMHO. I was with Nick for more than 5 years (I think at one point his 'longest' student). I only stopped because other things in life kept me from playing as much as I needed to. Nick does a great job of mixing theory and playing fun music. For example, he teaches the fundamentals of what makes a rock song and the theory behind chord progressions and soloing. My thing was late 70's and 80's rock and metal (the soundtrack of my high school years). Nick has a great library of music from that time and he was around then, so he could relate to the times and teach the musc well. Overall a great instructor who will teach you both music theory and how to play.

I have been taking bass guitar lessons from Nick for about 2 years. Nick is an excellent instructor. His lessons are very organized and efficient so you are always learning something new. I like his teaching style because you learn more than just how to play notes and read the music. You learn how music is structured and the fundamentals for playing any type of music. I play in the Jazz band at my school and this has been very helpful for me. I also like taking lessons from Nick because he is a real musician who has played in bands his whole life and you can really tell how much he loves music and teaching it to others. I would highly recommend Nick to anyone who is serious about learning how to play a musical instrument.

The ultimate music instructor, imho. Nick is extremely knowledgeable in all styles of music and music theory. Nick's relaxed, yet structured, teaching method had me playing guitar in no time at all. I looked forward to every session!

Nick was an excellent guitar teacher for my son, who studied with him for several years in high school. He conveys important music theory understanding in addition to strong technical and overall playing instruction, positive motivation and enjoyment.

You learn something new everyday even from students who sometimes force you to think outside of the box, thats why it never gets boring.

I knew that I wanted to be a musician from childhood and I loved music so much that there was never really any other choice.

In addition to music instruction I do guitar and instrument repairs as well as providing recording and on stage tips
