Introduction: We teach Argentine Tango mainly because we both have been passionate about all aspects of Argentine Tango all our adult lives. For instance, Hector recently published his book titled "Argentine Tango Cuisine" available at Amazon.com. This is what he had to say about our all-encompassing Argentine Tango life: "My wife Lidia and I have been teaching Argentine Tango dancing for many years. We consider it essential that students evolve to the point where they dance with their hearts as well as with their minds. Students must know about Argentine Tango culture and history to be able to bring Argentine Tango dancing to an experience beyond graceful body motion. We wrote this book for those of you interested in learning "porteño" cuisine as a way of enhancing your Argentine Tango dancing. Those of you interested in the culture, food, and restaurants of Buenos Aires will find it a useful and interesting reference. "

Lidia & Hector's Argentine Tango classes are the best. The education in their classes is so complete. You are taught the history of the dance , the language of the dance, the art form of the dance, and the many versions of the dance. It is truely a high level of dance; even though one is a beginner, one can follow but you must pay attention. My husband and I loved the class and will be continuing and anticipating more classes forth coming.
