Introduction: In the clay we find our stories. Through the pots we discover people and their lives written on the sides and surfaces. Visits to lands of the East, Turkey and Greece reveal who we are. During trips, I tell visitors the stories written in clay and painted in patterns that reveal who the people were and how they thought. Producing works of art using the ancient ways, with the help of skilled crafts people in the area, help form a lasting experience that will fuse the country into memory. I hold a PhD in Myths and Stories, and an MA in Fine Arts. I have designed trips for students, and given course credits. My college courses are also for adults who like to experience learning in depth about culture. I have lead trips to many places where the clay arts are part of the culture, and have taught art for 25 years at the high school and college level. My trips not only have great accommodations, but also have hands-on experiences using the clay arts, or just stories about the area. All of the arts are infused as well -- music, dance and drama. People love my trips so much that they will come over and over to experience and learn more.
