Albert did a phenomenal job with my wedding video! He was also a delight to work with! He was so patient and worked ever so hard (my wedding was a 12 hour event!) I think the hardest part for him was editing the video and making sure all the highlights I wanted were included in my video. He did not disappoint! I got every clip I wanted, and he incorporated all my favorite music and did everything I had requested. It's been a year since my wedding and recently watched the video again and all the best memories were captured! Thank you Albert for being the most responsive, patient person to work with and developing a quality wedding video that my husband and I (and now our daughter) will always enjoy!!!!
Kyle provided excellent service. Besides producing and recording music, he also gave me a great introduction to studio functionality. Thanks!
I've been taking guitar and singing lessons with David for a few months, and I've got to say I've had a really great time learning from him! David is an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable teacher who clearly cares about his students and their goals, and better still has played and performed with the artists that I like best. It took me a while to find a teacher who was willing to teach me the music I wanted to play instead of starting with their core competence, so it was really refreshing that within a month or two with plenty of practice I was able to learn one of my favorite songs (Three Rounds and a Sound by Blind Pilot, if you're curious), and a little longer to start singing it, which I was really stoked about. He has been great about breaking things down when the piece we're working on is too challenging. David has also pushed me to pursue my goal of creating music, helping along the way to create melodies and lyrics. I have to say, it takes a great teacher to get me to sing and to share lyrics with them (do you know how embarrassing that can be?). I could go on, but suffice it to say, David is a great teacher, and I'm really glad I started taking lessons with him.
Sedat is not only an amazing guitarist himself but is incredible with children of all ages. He can communicate with all age groups and is a very hands on teacher. He is also very knowledgeable in all instruments, knows his music very well. Both my children are learning so much from him in every lesson. Thank you Sedat!
Perfect night and perfect DJ! Professional, friendly, highly skilled and has ALL of the music yiy will ever need! Has a great mix of old and new music! Read the crowd expertly! Will definitely be our DJ for future gigs! Excellent value and Excellent Quality!
Can't say enough good things about these guys at Kingdom voice recording studios in Sunnyvale. Some studios just have a good engineer with the technical knowledge of recording music of but lack a strong musical background. But these guys are the whole package possessing the technical knowledge of recording music but also able to draw from a vast experience as performing and recording artist. They can't guarantee you a hit song on the Billboard charts that's your part. But you can greatly increase your chances with one phone call.
My tango band Trio Garufa recorded our 2012 album at Granada Studios under the supervision of Stevan Pasero. We had an excellent experience and were delighted with the quality of the results. Many factors make Granada Studios an outstanding recording facility: First, the studio equipment, room design and acoustics are top notch. It's also a very nicely-decorated space, which makes you feel comfortable and relaxed during your long recording sessions. Second, Stevan Pasero strives for nothing short of excellence: he is extremely knowledgeable, detail-oriented and uncompromising when it comes to recording quality. He spent several hours optimizing the mic placement for each of our instruments (double bass, bandoneon and guitar), and was on top of every single technical detail, allowing us to fully concentrate on the music. It does make a big difference when your recording engineer is a very experienced performing and recording musician himself: Stevan gave us very valuable feedback on our music and was extremely supportive when we had to work long ours to finish our album. He even spent an entire night working with us when we had to deliver the master mixes the next morning. Lastly, Stevan's wide knowledge of the music industry can also be of great value to those who need advice in that area. In summary, I highly recommend Granada Studios to any musician looking for top-notch professional recording quality.
James is a great piano teacher. He is patient and has the ability to get the most out of the student. He inspires everyone to do their best. James covers all styles of music and can adjust to the student's needs. Highly recommended.
Hammer Concepts did my very first promotional video that encompassed all of my arts (acting/singing/rapping). The video turned out great and Ryan was very timely about producing the project as well as a great creative co-producer in what I wanted it to look and feel like. I STILL get compliments on how well it was done still to this day and would definitely recommend (and already have) to others. If you are looking for outstanding quality in video or music production, Hammer concepts is definitely the way to go. Professional, reasonable, efficient, artistic! Quality work at its best!
I am a seasoned wedding video producer. I hired Frank Sosa to be a second shooter for a premium wedding package at a Napa winery. Frank really knows his stuff and is an excellent shooter. Frank, was punctual and worked with a very challenging group of people with grace. The shots frank took were excellent. He has a great sense of composition and he knows how to accommodate for challenging lighting situations. I'm looking forward to working with Frank in the future.
I am extremely happy to find producers that understand me as an artist. Not only that they make beats, they take the time to understand the style and the type of genre i was going for. I'm impressed about their professionalism, passion, and drive for music. I'm truly blessed that I have met John and Jeff.
I have been working with Rick tracking vocals, electic and acoustic guitars for some original music I composed. My experience has been outstanding. Ricks technical abilities, knowledge are first rate and he has an incredible ear. If you are looking for an outstanding product, I would highly recommend Rick and Popworks Music.
We used One Source Audio for our wedding day! Garrett and his team were amazing! The music on our wedding day was perfect. Garrett spoke to us a few months before the wedding letting us know what to expect, He laid everything out in a google document and we worked on what songs we wanted for each event for our wedding day. We ended up having pre-ceremony music (soft classical music), ceremony music (our specified songs), cocktail hour music (bluegrass) and of course the music for the reception (Classics, top 40s and ended with some House music). All of the music was different and it all worked well. Garrett listened to what we wanted and put together playlists that were on point. I had many people tell us that the music was awesome and I could see how much fun everyone was having. Garrett was also our MC for the night and he did great! Our wedding day was perfect and we would attest a lot of that to Garrett and his team. I would highly recommend using Garrett!
Excellent lessons in music theory and practice!
Ralph is a knowledgeable and patient guitar teacher. He's been willing to go the extra mile and find ways to explain music and musicianship that make sense to me.
Hugo and his fellow musicians were a very talented and professional group. We received many compliments of people having a wonderful time listening to their lively music - they even got a few kids dancing! Would definitely hire again!
I have a student-centered approach, which involves being attentive to how the person learns and the caring for focus of their intentions -- what they hope to learn. I've been teaching private guitar lessons 'formally' since 2001, shortly after graduating from the Musicians Institute's professional guitar and recording arts programs. During the last six years, I have also been an instructor of music theory for audio engineering students as well as for students of psychoacoustics at the Globe Institute in San Francisco. This is college-level music theory presented in a condensed format with specific applications in mind. Myriads of nationalities, cultures, ages, genders and musical backgrounds accompany the people who make up those classes, and they have helped me develop the skill for relating this material to all manner of people simultaneously. As a result, my one-on-one classes are even more enriched. My goal is to help you reach your goals in the most simple and joyful manner. The basics of what I offer are as follows: * Guitar -- Most Styles, Beginner and Intermediate * Recording Software -- Logic, Ableton, Native Instruments, Etc. * Music Theory -- Beginner and Intermediate * Ear Training * Composition * Songwriting * Audio Engineering/Production -- Beginner * Inner Music Theory -- A Psychoacoustic/Sound Healing Approach * Piano -- Beginner I also offer a generalized musician package in which any or all of what I teach is thoughtfully organized for your goals. Included are basic vocal coaching, percussion rudiments and loads of other pertinent basics.
I'm a very experienced and technically sound DJ. When performing, I focus on delivering enjoyment in a way that can make a party host proud. Their happiness brings me joy.
Originally from the electronic music mecca (Detroit, MI), Omar Johnson is rapidly taking the house music scene by storm with his soulful trendsetting mixes, rightfully placing him alongside San Francisco Bay Area's premier DJs and producers. His formal training in recording/sound engineering, DJ arts, and classical instruments (saxophone and trumpet) have proven to be great assets for him in the studio and on the tables. His influences can be traced back to his Detroit roots. By age 7, Johnson was already entertaining crowds at local talent shows with his trumpet and making mixtapes for friends and family members and did parties by age 12. Growing up in a family full of music lovers and musicians, he developed a taste for the sounds of the '70s soul and '80s R&B, which would later fuel his soulful creative style. He fondly recalls his aunt and older cousins travel to parties in cities like Chicago and New York as they returned with mixtapes by local DJs for his listening. With exposure to such musical talents, it wasn't long before Omar found himself interested in music production. Listening and studying the styles of artists/producers like Quentin Harris, Kerri Chandler, Larry Levan, Frankie Knuckles, David Mancuso, Nicky Siano and many others afforded him a solid foundation to build upon. Originally producing house music with an old Roland TR-808 and Juno 106, Johnson soon began dabbling in hip-hop production, producing tracks for a San Diego based crew, Noo Noo Groove. After deciding to focus his attention solely on house music, he moved to the Bay Area.
