FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When beginning to work with a new client, I first meet them in-person to discuss their individual goals. This free transformation session helps us both know each other's expectations and it gives us the opportunity to get to know each other better before we get started. I always want to make sure my clients know exactly what we are going to do, and in this initial meeting I will lay out a plan for you to see how your training program will look over the next several weeks and months. When we begin training, I will first do a general fitness test to determine what your starting point will be. I never want to cause injury or create an ineffective program; it's all about you and your fitness goals!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been passionate about health and fitness for around 8 years now. Before taking the steps to becoming a personal trainer, I spent countless hours researching and learning from other fitness professionals. I eventually decided to become a personal trainer which led me to attain my certification from the American Fitness Institute. I have studied with the National Academy of Sports Medicine(and will be receiving another certification through them soon). I am constantly learning and growing to become the best trainer I can be.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I fell in love with health and fitness years ago and eventually decided that I would like to help others improve their fitness as well. Through a series of open doors and opportunities, I started working in health clubs and then decided I wanted to begin my own business doing what I love. I love seeing people get stronger and healthier through working with me.
