CMS staff was wonderful, but the teacher we were assigned to was awful. Matt said on Monday he would send directions to his home (where lessons would be held). Our first lessons was for Thursday. On Wednesday morning I called and left a message for him asking again for directions. He never called or texted directions. I called CMS after 5 and explained I wanted a refund. They had Matt call me then. He said he was sorry that I got the wrong impression but not once did he apologize or accept responsibility for not getting me the directions or returning my call. He said he would have gotten me the directions Wednesday night or Thursday before the lesson. I guess we were not important enough for him to act in a timely manner or to accept any responsibility for getting me his address. I thought about this long and hard. If he was able to make light of this situation, would he blow off other things that would be important for my grandson to learn the guitar? I made the right decision in asking for a refund and NOT pursuing lessons with Matt. But again, a big thank you to the staff at CMS for being so nice.
