My name is Giulia, I was born in Italy and I've just moved to California. My hometown is Napoli, very well know for its traditional recipes and variations of other regional plates. My special dishes are most of all with pasta, especially pasta alla napoletana, carbonara, bolognese, seafood, pasta al forno (in the oven), and all sort of pasta with legumes and vegetables. Moreover, I can teach you how to prepare healthy but really tasty meat or fish dishes, vegetarian and Italian variations of Asian food as light Cantonese rise, noodles with vegetables and curry chicken.
I can teach you how to make home made pasta, such as gnocchi and fettuccine, and share with you all the secrets I have learned through family's generations. Also, I can give you advice about the products to use for the real Italian taste!
Italian language and culture. I will teach you Italian from the basis (depends on your level) starting from the alphabet and simple sentences. Grammar and conversation go together, because one is fundamental for the other. Other aims are the written and oral comprehension and learning about Italian culture like main historic facts, literature, music, cinema, recent events and cities.
